Exploring Halmstad
From an immersive tour through the Halmstad old town to hiking along its stunning beaches, we connected with the history and landscape of the region. We even laced up our skates for some ice skating—a first for many of our team members!
Flavors of the Forest
One of our highlights was picking mushrooms in the woods before an afternoon of making hotdogs in the forest and enjoying unique Swedish tacos. It was a perfect blend of nature and culinary tradition, showing us how the local community respects and utilizes their land.
Sharing Our Tables
Cultural exchange happens best over food. We tasted traditional dishes like Swedish meatballs with lingonberry sauce and, in return, shared the vibrant flavors of Kenya with our hosts. This exchange was a beautiful reminder that food, stories, and laughter are truly universal languages.
